What are
eStatements?
eStatements are simply your account statements in electronic format.
This allows you to see your statements online
Do eStatements look similar and contain
the same information as my paper statements?
Yes. They look exactly like your paper statement with all the same
information.
What are the benefits of
eStatements?
eStatements are fast. eStatements are generally available within 1-2
days from the beginning of each month. In comparison, paper
statements that need to be printed, stuffed into envelopes, sealed,
metered and mailed can take up to two weeks to be received. In
addition, eStatements help cut down on paper clutter! And eStatements
are safe. eStatements are not delivered by mail, which
eliminates the possibility of your statement ending up in the wrong
persons' hands.
Can eStatements be printed and
saved?
Yes. eStatements can easily be printed and/or downloaded and saved to
your PC for easy, anytime retrieval. Downloaded files are in PDF
format and can be viewed with Adobe Acrobat Reader which is available
free of charge at www.adobe.com.
How many months of statements can I
access?
Your eStatements are available for the past 18 months! If you
enroll today for eStatements, you will be able to see your past 18
months worth of statements immediately. We recommend you
download and save a copy of each eStatement on your PC if you desire
to keep more than the past 18 months worth of statements.
Will I receive my paper statement
anymore?
No. After enrolling in eStatements, we will discontinue the
mailing of your paper statement.
How do I enroll for eStatements?
First, you must have a PCU online account. Second, simply login
to your PCU account and click on the eStatements button at the top of
your screen. Upon accepting the terms in the disclosure, you'll
confirm Macromedia Flash Player software is installed on your PC, then
key in your email address for the monthly email notification.
Once you've completed the enrollment process you will have immediate
access to your eStatements for the past 18 months! When entering
your email address, please use the same e-mail address that is
currently tied to your PCU account profile.
Does it matter if I use Microsoft
Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator to access the Internet?
No, but Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher is the
preferred browser for accessing this application.
Do I need any special software to use the eStatement service?
Yes. Macromedia Flash Player software is required to view your
eStatements. This is a FREE software that can be
downloaded/installed on your PC. During the eStatements
enrollment process, your PC will be checked to see if the software is
already installed on your PC, and a download link is available if
needed. Adobe Acrobat Reader software is needed to view your
eStatement only if you choose to download your eStatement file and
view it from your computer. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader,

How will I know when I can view my
statement?
You will receive an email notification whenever a new statement is
available for viewing. Important: Your eStatement will
not be sent to you in an email, Only a notification that your
eStatement is available to view through your secure PCU online
account.
What do I do if my email address
changes?
You can provide your new email address for eStatement notification by
logging into your PCU online account and click on "Preferences" then
choose "Change E-mail".
What do I do if I'm having trouble
viewing my statement?
Cherokee Strip Credit Union cannot offer support for your PC.
Although, here are some things that can be helpful to you in your
trouble shooting process:
Changes to your PC's operating system software such as upgrades,
downloads, and/or system enhancements can affect your PC's ability to
connect with secure websites.
We recommend trying the following steps:
- Verify that you are current on all
Windows Updates. From the Start menu, click on Windows Update, and
download recommended updates and patches, then shut down and restart
the computer.
- Un-install and re-install Macromedia
Flash Player.
- Un-install and re-install Adobe
Acrobat Reader.
- Some pop-up blocker and firewall
programs may prevent access to eStatements. If you utilize these
types of applications, you may need to disable certain features of
the programs in order to access your eStatements.
